Affiliate marketing is a great way to make money online. But if you’re just starting out, it can feel like an impossible challenge. That’s especially true if you’re short on cash and you need to make money fast!

My Journey from Teacher to Affiliate Superstar!
Don’t get me wrong – I’m still a teacher. I love my kids, but I also don’t get paid enough. Unfortunately, the modern educational system isn’t built around creativity.
I needed more income and an outlet for my creative spirit!
While coronavirus made my job a lot harder, it also put me in front of a monitor. That’s when I started to realize that affiliate marketing might be the right answer.
After some research and organization from my affiliate planner, I signed up with an affiliate marketing company and marketed my first product on Pinterest.
While I was eager to get started, I kept my expectations low for this as a test. If it didn’t work, at least I had done something. More importantly, I’d be able to see where I went wrong and improve on it.
I was floored the next morning when I got an email telling me I’d made a sale. My first affiliate commission! It wasn’t much – enough to buy lunch – but I was hooked. I also had confirmation that affiliate marketing works… and that my strategy was a winner.
As you can see by the screenshot below, I signed up on 6/29, and on 6/30, I made a sale.

Since that initial taste of success, I’ve been thirstily hunting out the best resources. I’m building out new marketing systems to create a home business that provides an amazing supplemental income.
